Are we underrating the Boston Celtics heading into the NBA’s 2025-26 regular season? The Celtics may have had an ignominious exit from their 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals second round series vs. the New York Knicks after star forward Jayson Tatum went down with an Achilles injury. And they may have traded away or let walk in free agency key players like Al Horford, Jrue Holiday, Luke Kornet, and Kristaps Porzingis.
But they still have a very talented roster with vets like Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, Payton Pritchard, and Anfernee Simons, and a number of promising prospects like Neemias Queta, Josh Minott, and Hugo Gonzalez backing them up from off of the bench.
