PORTLAND, Ore – The Portland Trail Blazers are officially sold today to an ownership group led by Tom Dundon of the NHL Carolina Hurricanes. It is pending approval by the NBA’s Board of Governors. 

The new group, which includes Marc Zahr and the Cherng Family Trust, has stated its intention to keep the franchise in Portland.
