No. 2 Texas will take on No. 9 Arizona State at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 14, in the Top-10 matchup. The undefeated Longhorns will play their first match back at Gregory Gym when they host a determined 4-1 Sun Devil team.

No. 2 Texas stands undefeated as they meet No.9 Arizona State, beating four top-15 opponents in their first five matches to open up their 2025 season. 

The Sun Devils have looked steady, starting with a 4-1 record, highlighted by a statement win over then-No. 2-ranked Penn State, which propelled them into the Top 10. But they fell to No. 7 Pitt shortly after.

The Texas and Arizona State programs will meet for the 10th time at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, Sept. 14, at the Gregory Gym in Austin, Texas. Their last matchup took place in 2014, when the Longhorns shut out the Sun Devils 3-0. 

Arizona State’s sole win in the series occurred in 2013, when the Longhorns were ranked No. 2 and the unranked Sun Devils completed the upset at the Illini Classic.
