When we think of Boston Celtics legends like Hall of Fame forward Larry Bird, we often focus on the unbelievable levels of confidence such players have on the court that combines with their god-given physical attributes and skill in the sport to have made them the icons of the NBA a player like the Hick From French Lick is.
But it turns out even Larry Legend leaned on the guy upstairs when it came to the 1992 Olympics and the so-called ‘Dream Team.’ of NBA legends, Bird was arguably the greatest among them in terms of career achievements to that point.. Bird would go out on his own terms after the Olympics, but the story of his last dance is one for the ages.
