The Memphis Grizzlies enter the 2025-26 season with a revamped roster and coaching staff after making several moves this offseason under general manager Zach Kleiman.
The front office opted to trade mainstay Desmond Bane to the Orlando Magic in exchange for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Cole Anthony, four first-round picks and a pick swap. The team brought in Ty Jerome and re-signed Santi Aldama, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Cam Spencer.
Kleiman & Co. used the 16th pick, acquired from the Magic, a future first-round pick and two second-round picks to move up to select Cedric Coward at No. 11. They also drafted Javon Small (48th) and Jahmai Mashack (59th) in the second round.
The Grizzlies are nationally projected to take a step back this year, boasting only the 10th-highest odds of winning the Western Conference. They will be led by head coach Tuomas Iisalo, who was elevated to full-time head coach on May 2.
With the team opening training camp on Sept. 30, Rookie Wire examined the Grizzlies’ depth chart and offered an early projection of the starters and backups entering the season.
