In one of the biggest Week 3 games, No. 16 Texas A&M traveled on the road to secure the upset win over No. 8 Notre Dame. The Aggies won a 41-40 thriller over the Fighting Irish.

Nate Boerkircher scored the go-ahead touchdown when he received an 11-yard reception with just 13 seconds left in the game. Texas A&M collected the signature win to improve to 3-0.

One ecstatic fan was Alex Caruso. He played four college seasons at Texas A&M from 2012-16. While he went undrafted in 2016, the two-time NBA champion has carved out one of the best defensive careers in the league since he entered the league.

Caruso took to social media to celebrate the Texas A&M win. In ESPN’s College GameDay crew, only Pat McAfee picked the Aggies to win the top-16 Saturday night matchup. The 31-year-old has attended several games during his offseason and remains engaged with his school.

With training camp set to start later this month, Caruso will soon be back in business. He helped the Oklahoma City Thunder win an NBA championship last season. He was one of their five most important players with stellar perimeter defense and streaky outside shooting.
