The Golden State Warriors have had over 600 players don the more than 60 jersey numbers used by their players over the more than 75 years of existence the team has enjoyed in its rich and storied history.

Founded in 1946 during the Basketball Association of America (BAA — a precursor league of the NBA) era, the team has called home the cities of Philadelphia, San Francisco, Oakland, and even San Diego.

That player would be Golden State big man alum Darren Tillis. After ending his college career at Cleveland State University, Tillis was picked up with the 23rd overall selection of the 1982 NBA Draft by the Boston Celtics.

The Dallas, Texas native would play the first 15 games of his pro career with Boston before he was dealt to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 1983. That fall, he was dealt again, this time to the Dubs for his final season in the NBA.

During his time suiting up for the Warriors, Tillis wore only jersey No. 23 and put up 3.6 points and 2.6 rebounds per game.
