Through the 2024-25 season, the Los Angeles Lakers have had a total of 506 players suit up for them, going back to their days in Minneapolis. Some were forgettable, some were serviceable, some were good and a select few were flat-out legendary.

As the Lakers approach their 80th season of existence (they were founded back in 1946 as the Detroit Gems in the National Basketball League), LeBron Wire is taking a look at each player who has worn their jersey, whether it has been a purple and gold one or the ones they donned back in the Midwest during their early years.

Midway through the 1994-95 season, the Lakers signed forward Randolph Keys, first to a 10-day contract and then for the rest of the season. He had played four seasons at the University of Southern Mississippi and was the No. 22 pick in the 1988 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he was coming off a couple of years with the Quad City Thunder of the Continental Basketball Association (CBA), where he won a league title.

Keys appeared in six games with Los Angeles and had a total of 20 points and 17 rebounds in 83 minutes. The next season, which he spent with the Milwaukee Bucks, was his last in the NBA.
