Who was a better big man, Dallas Mavericks icon Dirk Nowitzki, or Boston Celtics legend Kevin Garnett? Both of the two Hall of Fame big man have a single title to their storied NBA careers, but went about them in very different ways.
The Big Ticket might have the edge with a Most Valuable Player award to his name, more All-Star nods, and a Defensive Player of the Year nod as well, but a closer look suggests that there is a case to be made that the race is closer than it looks. One player who faced both of these two (and might be a bit biased, we’ll admit, as a Cs alum) is former floor general Jeff Teague.
