Jayson Tatum has returned with a vengeance after shaking off a minor injury that caused him to miss the second playoff game against the Orlando Magic.

The Boston Celtics are on the verge of progressing to the Eastern Conference semi-finals with a 107-98 win over the Orlando Magic.

The Celtics have taken a 3-1 lead over the Magic after bouncing back from a Game 3 loss. And with the series set to head back to Boston for Game 5, their progression looks very likely.

Jayson Tatum was the star, he scored 37 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and added 3 assists.

Jayson Tatum has now joined a very elite group of players to register 70 NBA Playoffs wins before reaching the age of 27.

He becomes the seventh player to reach the 70 game benchmark, per NBA Stats, and the caliber of others to get there shows the esteemed company Tatum is now in.

One of them is his Boston Celtics teammate Jaylen Brown, who is now 28 and cannot further climb up this list.

Jayson Tatum turned 27 this past March. This means he has this entire 2025 NBA Playoffs to attempt to rack up more postseason victories.

Tatum could win a maximum of 9 more playoff wins this year if the Boston Celtics are successful in winning the championship and defending the 2024 title.

This would take him to 79 playoff wins – taking him to second spot – but he won’t be able to match Magic Johnson’s 85.

Tatum missed the Game 2 win over the Magic with an injury, costing him a chance to potentially reach 80 playoff wins before turning 27.
