CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oregon State women’s basketball is making waves in the recruiting world. On Sunday the beavers solidified the commitment of one of the Pacific Northwest’s premier guards. Ashley Uusitalo, a 5-foot-9 standout from Lake Washington High School. Uusitalo will join the Beavers in the 2026 class.
Uusitalo has already made a name for herself. She leads her high school in three-pointers and has showcased her skills as both a scorer and playmaker.
Last season, she averaged 17 points, five rebounds, four assists, and two steals per game, earning King County 4A MVP honors.
Ranked as the No. 4 player in Washington, she adds a dynamic presence to a class already featuring Taylor Young from Crater High School and Maggie Warpus from New York.
With Uusitalo in the fold, Oregon State is building a strong foundation for its return to the Pac-12.
