INDIANAPOLIS – DeMarcus Cousins scored 25 points and had a season-high 16 rebounds, Darren Collison added a season-high 24 points, and the Sacramento Kings held off the Indiana Pacers 108-106 on Wednesday night.

Rajon Rondo had 13 points and 16 assists to help the Kings win for the fifth time in seven games.

Indiana had a chance to force overtime, but Paul George’s midrange jumper bounced off the back of the rim as the buzzer sounded.

Monta Ellis led Indiana with 21 points, and C.J. Miles and George Hill each had 20. The Pacers have lost three straight.

Sacramento made it look easy early by jumping to a 64-49 halftime lead. But Indiana charged back in the second half and finally took a 106-104 lead on Ellis’ 3 with a little more than two minutes to play. The Kings answered with four straight points, and didn’t allow the Pacers to score again.

CAVALIERS 91, KNICKS 84: In Cleveland, LeBron James scored 24 points, including three key baskets down the stretch, to help the Cavs past short-handed New York.

Knicks star Carmelo Anthony didn’t play because of a sprained right ankle.

MAVERICKS 119, NETS 118: In New York, Dirk Nowitzki moved past Shaquille O’Neal into sixth place on the NBA’s career scoring list, then made the go-ahead basket with 19.2 seconds left in overtime to lift Dallas. Nowitzki’s 22 points gave him 22,609 in his career.

SPURS 108, TIMBERWOLVES 83: In Minneapolis, Kawhi Leonard had 19 points and six rebounds, and San Antonio bullied young Minnesota underneath for its seventh straight win.

BUCKS 113, 76ERS 100: In Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokounmpo made his first 11 shots to score 22 points as Milwaukee beat hapless Philadelphia. The Sixers fell to an astonishing 1-30, including 0-18 on the road, and lost its 12th straight.

HAWKS 107, PISTONS 100: In Atlanta, Jeff Teague scored 23 points as Atlanta beat Detroit for its fifth straight victory. Andre Drummond led the Pistons with 25 points and 12 rebounds.

MAGIC 104, ROCKETS 101: In Orlando, Florida, Evan Fournier hit a short bank shot with 14.2 seconds left and Tobias Harris made two free throws with 1.1 seconds remaining to lift Orlando.

WIZARDS 100, GRIZZLIES 91: In Washington, John Wall had 14 points and 14 assists in the victory over Memphis.

CELTICS 102, HORNETS 89: In Charlotte, North Carolina, Kelly Olynyk scored 20 points and Jae Crowder added 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead Boston.

PELICANS 115, TRAIL BLAZERS 89: In New Orleans, Anthony Davis had 28 points and 12 rebounds in New Orleans’ win over Portland.
