Dwyane Wade shares his honest thoughts on the New York Knicks fanbase and what he wishes the Miami Heat fans learn from them.

The New York Knicks have one of the most passionate fanbases in the NBA. However, they have been forced to stay relatively quiet due to their franchise’s poor performance.

Well, it feels like the Knicks are on the cusp of ending that in the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Right now, the organization holds a 2-1 lead over the Boston Celtics.

Although the Knicks suffered a blowout loss in Game 3, many are still hopeful of the franchise eliminating the defending champions.

Being a former member of the Miami Heat, Dwyane Wade had various opportunities to lock horns with the Knicks during his playing career.

Evidently, he witnessed the feeling of playing at Madison Square Garden. Keeping that in mind, D-Wade recently labeled the Knicks fans as ‘annoying’ but not in a bad way.

“Yo, Knicks fans [are] about to be so annoying, bro. You already know, bro. So annoying, bro. I’m happy for Knicks fans cuz they’ve been waiting a long time, bro,” Wade said, via Time Out podcast.

Even though the Celtics have a better roster on paper, Wade trusts the Knicks fans to go wild in Game 4 of the series.

After all, the organization has a chance to go up 3-1 in the series and they have the perfect opportunity to do it at Madison Square Garden.

Wade wants Miami Heat fans to learn from Knicks fans

While Wade is happy for the Knicks fanbase, he is still a supporter of the Heat, the franchise that drafted him and allowed him to become a superstar in the league.

Although the Heat failed to qualify for the postseason in 2025, he wants the fanbase to take notes from the Knicks fans in the future.

“I said ‘annoying’ in a way that’s how I want my fans to be, just like that. That’s what you want,” Wade continued.

He added: “Let them win this one. Oh, they [are] about to go crazy. They [are] going to tear down the Garden. It’s going to be enough.”

If what Wade said is true, the Celtics are in for a difficult Game 4 matchup at a crucial stage in the conference semifinals.
