It has been a tough summer of free agency for former Philadelphia 76ers 3-time All-Star Ben Simmons. After spending the 2024-25 season playing for the Brooklyn Nets and the Los Angeles Clippers, the former All-NBA Third Teamer has had a tough time finding a new home.

Simmons reportedly had an offer from the New York Knicks, but he turned it down which then led to his agent dropping him. With training camp continuing to approach around the NBA, Simmons has yet to find a new home and there was a rumor going around that he was heading into retirement.

However, as Simmons posted a photo dump on his Instagram account, he was asked if he was retired in a comment. He responded with a very simple “no”.

As the offseason continues, it remains to be seen if anybody will give Simmons a legitimate shot at making a roster again, but he can still contribute in a smaller role as he showed with the Clippers. His days of being a star are over, but he can still help a team win.
