The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association District 3 Committee announced that the 2025-26 District 3 basketball championships will not take place at the GIANT Center in Hershey. Due to scheduling conflicts, the GIANT Center is unavailable for this year’s tournament.Instead, championship games will be held at neutral-site high schools throughout the region.Specific site assignments will be announced once the matchups are in place, with the goal of ensuring the best possible experience for student-athletes, families and fans.The District 3 championships will feature doubleheaders at two locations on Feb. 25, 26, and 27, for a total of 12 championship games“Although we’ll miss being at the GIANT Center this season, we’re thrilled to highlight the outstanding support and hospitality of our local schools,” said Steve Navaroli, District 3 director of communications. “Our communities consistently rally around student-athletes, and we’re confident the championship atmosphere will be just as exciting.” Schedules, tipoff times, locations and ticket details will be available on the District 3 website and shared through school athletic offices and social media channels, prior to the start of the 2025-26 basketball tournaments.
