JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WCYB) — ETSU men’s basketball announced the signing of 6’8” transfer forward Jordan McCullum on Monday, adding the rising sophomore to the roster via the transfer portal from Murray State.
This time, it’s a familiar face to one of the Bucs’ beloved players – Maki Johnson.
Originally from Harriman, Tennessee, McCullum played his freshman, sophomore, and senior seasons at Harriman High School and his junior year at Huntington Prep in Huntington, West Virginia, where he played alongside current Buccaneer Johnson.
In his lone season at Murray State, McCullum played in five games, registering 15 minutes, eight points, and two rebounds.
Jordan has a ton of upside,” said head coach Brooks Savage. “He’s athletic, he can put it on the deck, he can shoot the three, and we’re really excited to have Jordan’s size and length and versatility. He will remind our fans of a young Jaden Seymour.
