SAN ANTONIO – A local high school basketball team has volunteered its time to work for those in need.
On Tuesday evening, the East Central High School boys basketball team worked to support the non-profit group Feed My Starving Children.
Together, the team was able to fill 447 huge boxes, prepare a grand total of 97,552 meals, and provide 264 children from around the world with one meal a day for an entire year!
“Thank you to all the student-athletes and parents who helped make last night so successful!” said East Central Independent School District in a statement.
