Boston might not be contending for a title this season barring a massive miracle taking shape, but that does not mean that there are not games to watch — and some of them not even involving the Celtics.
There are teams with Boston alumni to watch, like with the San Antonio Spurs and Luke Kornet, the Portland Trail Blazers and Jrue Holiday and Rob Williams III, and the Atlanta Hawks and Kristaps Porzingis. There are teams we don’t want to see succeed, like the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks — and other we might, like the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic.
