The Sacramento Kings have unveiled their City Edition uniforms for the 2025-26 NBA season.
The jersey has Sacramento emblazoned across the chest with a new palette of deep ink purple and bright violet accents, shades the team has never used before. The team described the new jersey as a “modern remix of the beloved 2022-23 gray design” with “a spotlight on the Kings Victory Beam, a rallying point that transcends basketball and connects the entire city.”
The new design was introduced Tuesday in celebration of 916 Day along with plans for theme nights and Fan Fest festivities on Sept. 18.
“Sacramento is a community unlike any other, and 916 Day is the perfect moment to celebrate the passion and pride of our fans,” Kings president of business operations John Rinehart said in a news release. “This season, we’re excited to unveil a new City Edition uniform that honors the beam – our symbol of unity and resilience – while also hosting immersive theme nights and welcoming fans back to Golden 1 Center for Fan Fest to tip off what promises to be a thrilling season.”
The Kings will debut the new City Edition uniform and a complementary court design when they play host to the Atlanta Hawks on Nov. 12 at Golden 1 Center. The Kings will wear the City Edition uniform 10 times at home and nine times on the road. Fans can purchase the jersey at Kings.com/City.
Fan Fest will feature an open practice, kid-friendly games, exclusive discounts on Kings apparel along with appearances by Slamson and other team personalities. The event is free, but tickets are required. Complimentary tickets can be claimed at Kings.com/FanFest.
