The Boston Celtics are reportedly very happy with star forward Jayson Tatum’s Achilles injury rehab so far. It remains unclear whether there really is a realistic path for the St. Louis native to return to the court this coming season, given the complexities of such an injury and the importance of not coming back too early from such a serious health issue.
But based on what we are hearing from NBC Sports Boston analysts Marc Bertrand and Scott Zolak, who recently related that they had gone to dinner with Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla, and Tatum’s speedy recovery was among the topics of conversation they had with Mazzulla was of particular interest to the pair on an episode of their eponymous “98.5 the Sports Hub” show “Zolak and Bertrand”.
