If you can’t wait until opening night of the 2025-26 NBA regular season to watch the Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics, and preseason exhibition games don’t fully slake your thirst for a return of Brown and the Cs into your life, Netflix will have you covered midway through next month.

The popular streaming site recently announced the release date, Oct. 16, 2025, for the second season of their NBA-oriented docuseries that featured star Boston forward Jayson Tatum in season one. We are of course talking about “Starting Five,” which has Brown as one of several NBA stars the show follows for an NBA campaign. Alongside the Georgia native is newly crowned Oklahoma City Thunder champ Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, recuperating Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton, Los Angeles Clippers vet James Harden, and new Houston Rockets forward Kevin Durant.

The show will have a total of eight minutes of about 45 minutes in length, and can only be found on Netflix.
