The Boston Celtics continue to prepare their roster for training camp and the coming 2025-26 NBA regular season with a pair of camp invites reported by Michael Scotto of our sister site HoopsHype. Per Scotto, the Celtics have extended camp deals to former Phoenix Suns forward Jalen Bridges and Brooklyn Nets wing alum Kendall Brown.

Both will compete for a two way spot according to the HoopsHype reporter, presumably the one currently held by two way forward RJ Luis Jr., who came to the Celtics in a trade with the Utah Jazz that sent veteran forward Georges Niang to Utah for cap relief and Luis’ contract. Bridges, a 6-foot-8 swingman who is 24 years old, has some NBA experience in his time with the Suns, having played a total of eight contests with Phoenix last season.

There, he put up 1.1 points per game, but at the G League level, the Fairmont, West Virginia native logged 14.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 38.6% from 3 and 47.8% overall.

Brown, for his part, has multiple seasons under his belt with the Indiana Pacers, but appeared in just seven more games over that stretch, logging 1.4 points per game at the NBA level. Also 6-foot-8, Brown is two years younger than Bridges, and so far has played three seasons in the G League to date, most recently with the Long Island Nets.

There, he put up 15.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 37.7% from deep, and 54.5% overall.
