Jake Paul’s gaming and media company Betr just added two new names to its roster, and they come from one of basketball’s most famous families.
Per a press release, Lonzo Ball, point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and his younger brother LiAngelo Ball, who’s been balancing basketball with his rap career, have signed on as equity partners while also bringing their podcast into the Betr Media lineup.
The rebranded show is set to drop this fall, perfectly timed for the NBA season. Lonzo will host episodes from Cleveland or on the road, while LiAngelo will join from Los Angeles when not traveling with his brother. Each episode will run at least 45 minutes, with 40 installments planned every year.
According to Betr, the revamped format will spotlight sports, pop culture, and the unique Ball family dynamic, all while featuring major guests.
“We’re excited to partner with Betr,” Lonzo and LiAngelo said in a joint statement included in the release. “We’ve watched what Jake and the team have been building from a media perspective, and we believe it is a perfect fit for us. We’re looking forward to taking our podcast to the next level and giving our fans exciting conversations from some of the biggest names in sports, media and culture throughout the basketball season.”
As equity partners, the Ball brothers will have a direct stake in Betr’s growth. They’ll appear in company content—whether that’s showing up to Jake Paul’s fights or creating pieces tied to Betr’s gaming products. Lonzo and LiAngelo will also use their social media platforms, including Lonzo’s massive following that ranks among the top five most-followed NBA players, to help expand the brand’s reach.
Mike Denevi, Head of Media at Betr, called the deal a milestone: “Lonzo and LiAngelo are cultural icons with authentic voices, massive reach, and cultural relevance, making them an ideal fit for our platform. Together, we’re going to co-create one of the biggest sports shows in America.”
Founded in 2022 by Joey Levy and Jake Paul, Betr has quickly become a major player in both sports gaming and media. Its flagship product, Betr Picks, is live in 33 states and D.C., with users winning more than $250 million. In September 2025, the company launched Betr Arcade in 29 states, tapping into the growing peer-to-peer skill gaming space.
