1999 NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs among the Hall of Fame inductees
SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2025 was inducted Saturday at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center.
The class included:
1999 NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs.
The original Spurs Coyote, Tim Derk.
Charlie Boggess, the winningest high school basketball coach in San Antonio history.
Multi-sport All-American and University of Texas Hall of Honor inductee, Sharon Neugebauer-Shepard.
Former SAISD superintendent, pioneering educator and athlete, Dr. Victor Rodriguez.
Created in 1995, the Sports Hall of Fame recognizes people with ties to San Antonio who have made an impact on the city’s sports community through involvement or athletic programs.
The gala serves as the largest annual fundraiser for the youth and community programs run by San Antonio Sports.
