RAPID CITY, S.D. – A former NBA player and Gonzaga All-American, Dan Dickau, was in Rapid City this weekend to host a basketball clinic at the E3 Sports Complex.
Dozens of basketball players from around the area participated in the clinic.
The event allowed players to work on the fundamentals and develop their skills.
The clinic also served as an exposure event providing players a chance to be seen by college coaches from across the country.
“I know Dan from college,” said E3 basketball coach Casey Frandsen. “We played against each other in college. Played with each other on a summer Pro-Am team. I gave him a call about a month ago and just kind of had the idea to bring him out here. Dan did a great job. Then we also have this exposure piece that we’re doing right now. Playing a bunch of games. We have college coaches watching on our cameras above. Twenty seven different college coaches have committed to watch these guys play.”
The E3 Sports Complex plans to host another basketball clinic next summer with Dan Dickau.
