After an offseason filled with several roster changes, the Phoenix Suns enter the 2025-26 season in a new era under first-time head coach Jordan Ott.

The summer was headlined by a historic seven-team trade in which the Suns sent Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the 2025 NBA draft (Khaman Maluach) and five second-round picks.

The front office also acquired center Mark Williams from the Charlotte Hornets and signed Jared Butler and Nigel Hayes-Davis. In addition to Maluach, the Suns also selected Rasheer Fleming (31st pick) and Koby Brea (41st) in the draft.

Behind their recent additions and signings, the Suns are expected to begin their next phase with a new group of players. As a result, they are projected nationally to take a step back this season, currently boasting the fourth-lowest odds to win the Western Conference (plus-20000).

With the team officially convening for training camp on Thursday, Rookie Wire examined the Suns’ depth chart and offered an early projection of the starters and backups entering the season.
