Isaiah Thomas might be one of the most beloved players in the history of the Boston Celtics who never won a title with the storied ball club. And while he might not have been with the team for very long, his impact on the fan base still resonates today, nearly a decade after he was dealt to the organization.
During the time he played for the Celtics, The King in the Fourth (Thomas’ Game of Thrones-inflected nickname paying homage to his late-game scoring ability) had plenty of memorable games. But perhaps none were more impressive than his 52-point explosion he put up against the Miami Heat in late December 2016.
