MEMPHIS, Tenn. -Basketball season is almost here, and the Memphis Grizzlies are inviting fans to get a sneak peek at the 2025-26 squad.

The team’s annual open practice is set for Saturday, Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. at FedExForum, officials announced. Festivities kick off with a Plaza Party on the Big River Steel Plaza at 11 a.m., featuring a live DJ, inflatables, face painting, balloon artists and more. Doors open at noon.

Fans can expect much entertainment with appearances by Grizz, the Grizz Girls, the Claw Crew and other live entertainment teams.

According to the Grizzlies, players will compete with each other in various basketball-skills challenges, guided by Head Coach Thomas Iisalo, and join a half-court shot contest benefiting The Soulsville Foundation and Collage Dance.

The event will also feature a performance by Stax Music Academy, with students from Stax Music Academy and Contemporary Arts Memphis participating in player introductions.

The team said fans attending the open practice will have the opportunity to unlock a $9.01 ticket discount for opening night on Oct. 22 at 7 p.m.

The first 500 fans in attendance at the practice will receive an autographed player photo. Seating is first come first served, and free parking is available in the Gossett Motors Garage.
