With training camp beginning for the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, there are some orders of business for them to take care of as they look to get the roster ready for what’s to come.
On Monday, the Sixers signed Emoni Bates, Kennedy Chandler, Jaylen Martin, and Malcolm Hill to deals. They turned out to be Exhibit 10 deals and the Sixers have reportedly decided to waive Martin.

Martin played 16 games in the league in 2024-25 with the Brooklyn Nets and the Washington Wizards and he averaged 4.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 30.4% from deep in those contests. The Sixers waiving him paves the way for him to join the team’s G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.
Martin will get the necessary reps needed with the Blue Coats in order for him to take those developmental steps forward. He will look to then eventually get back to the NBA and chase his dream at this stage of his career.
