The Cleveland Cavaliers continued to make moves to strengthen their bench Tuesday (Sept. 22) by adding point guard Killian Hayes, most recently with the Brooklyn Nets, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Hayes played six games for the Nets last season averaging 9 points, 3 rebounds, 5.2 assists per game and he shot 38.1% from the 3-point line. In his career, he’s played 216 NBA games, averaging 8.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.2 assists.

He spent much of last season playing for the G League Long Island Nets.

Hayes was the No. 7 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons.
