(WJAR) — Massachusetts Leaders will honor the memory of Bill Russell by naming a new bridge after the basketball legend on Wednesday.

The bridge in question was previously the North Washington Street Bridge.

Russell, who passed away in 2022, led the Celtics to 11 championships in 13 seasons.
