After a busy offseason, the Utah Jazz begin the 2025-26 season looking to take a step forward with a revamped roster in the fourth year under head coach Will Hardy.
The Jazz added Kyle Anderson, Kevin Love, Georges Niang and Jusuf Nurkić via trades, while departing from mainstays Jordan Clarkson, John Collins and Collin Sexton. The team also re-signed Oscar Tshiebwe to a two-way contract.
The organization selected Ace Bailey (No. 5 pick), Walter Clayton Jr. (No. 18) and John Tonje (No. 53) in the 2025 NBA draft. Bailey and Clayton are projected to have the chance to compete for minutes, while Tonje will split his time between the NBA and G League on a two-way contract.
With the team opening training camp on Sept. 30, Rookie Wire examined the Jazz’s depth chart and offered an early projection of the starters and backups entering the season.
