CHICAGO BULLS legends Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen are still embroiled in a heated rivalry.

Jordan, 62, and Pippen, 59, took the NBA by storm in the ’90s as they established the Bulls as arguably the best basketball team in the world by winning six championships.

Bulls legend Bill Cartwright described Jordan and Pippen’s feud as ‘nonsense’

However, the Chicago greats fell out after the release of the Netflix documentary The Last Dance in 2020.

Their friction became public when Pippen took issue with how he was portrayed in the doc.

And the rift continues five years after the release of the hit limited series with the ex-Portland Trail Blazers star sneak-dissing MJ ever since.

Pippen went as far as declaring LeBron James as his all-time NBA GOAT over Jordan.

Fellow Bulls hero Bill Cartwright confirmed that his former star team-mates have yet to bury the hatchet.

Cartwright, 67, who described their ongoing feud as “nonsense” is in good terms with all of his former comrades.

However, the former center isn’t confident that Jordan and Pippen will ever see eye to eye again.

Cartwright told TMZ when asked if he could bring Jordan and Pippen back together: “Nah, those guys are old guys now.

“It’s like all that happened in the ’90s. Shouldn’t we be past that by now? Yeah, so it’s kinda … nonsense.

“At the end of the day, it doesn’t change what they accomplished in Chicago.

“I love Pip, and MJ was a great teammate. I had great teammates my whole time there.

“I just know that we won championships. I don’t have anything to beef about.”

However, Cartwright suggested his new book Living Life at the Center could bring them back together.

The book highlights the ex-New York Knicks star’s journey of overcoming obstacles to becoming a three-time NBA champion with Jordan and Pippen.

Cartwright added: “I think they’ll be very happy, and we’ll just go from there.”
