Dwight Howard was recently inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
It was a deserving honor for Dwight Howard, who dominated the NBA on both ends of the floor during the prime of his career.
While Howard had a plethora of highlight plays during his NBA stint, is there one moment that stands out for the 2020 NBA champion?
Well, as it turns out, Howard does have such a moment, and it happened when he was starting to make a name for himself in the league.

Aside from playing suffocating defense, Howard shone the most at finishing at the rim with ease. Being an athletic center, he slammed several memorable dunks during his NBA career.
However, the one that stands out the most to him is none other than his one-handed alley-oop finish against the Boston Celtics in 2006.
“I got to go with that with the Celtics. I gotta go with that one, because Jameer’s pass is nice,” Howard said on NBA Today.
Another reason why Howard cherishes this finish is the reaction of Paul Pierce.
“And then Paul Pierce is like, ‘Jesus Christ,’” Howard added.
Dwight Howard also picks the favorite chasedown block of his career
After picking the alley-oop finish against the Celtics, Howard was then asked to choose the favorite chasedown block of his career.
The 8x NBA All-Star picked his terrific volleyball spike against Luol Deng of the Chicago Bulls.
“Luol Deng. That one right there was crazy. I had to grab the backboard to stop myself from going forward.
It’s no surprise that Howard was a two-time NBA blocks champion, as he used to swat shots for fun during his stint with the Orlando Magic.
