3 shot at basketball tournament in Forest Park, police say

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Three people have been shot at a basketball tournament, according to Forest Park police.

Police said officers responded to a gymnasium at 4295 Hendrix Drive around 6:45 p.m. Saturday and found that three people had been shot.

According to police, investigation indicated that an argument during a basketball tournament escalated into gunshots.

The three victims were taken to the hospital.
