Johnson will compete for a spot on Minnesota’s regular-season roster in training camp. The 2018 second-round pick most recently played for the Kawasaki Brave Thunders in Japan, where he averaged 12.7 points, 9.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists across 26.2 minutes per game in 60 outings during the 2024-25 season.
