BROOKLYN — David Muoka’s NBA hopes remain alive despite a short-lived Brooklyn Nets signing that ended in a 24-hour waiver, the South China Morning Post reported.
The 24-year-old Hong Kong native will rejoin the Long Island Nets in the NBA’s G League, where he previously played, with the season set to start Nov. 7. Muoka told the paper that European, Asian, and Australian teams also pursued him this offseason, but he remains committed to breaking into the NBA.
Muoka, a West Island School graduate, said he is better prepared now than two years ago, when he first attempted to make the league.
