The long way for the return of the NBA is nearly over. Next week, teams will begin the preseason portion of their schedule. This week, teams around the league are hosting their annual media days.
Media days are a time to learn the new faces of the franchise, as well as for fans to learn a little bit more about the team that will decide their mood for the next nine months.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are one team that is welcoming new faces to the franchise this season. The Cavaliers made the decision to bring in Lonzo Ball this offseason after a summer trade.

Ball spent the last four seasons with the Chicago Bulls; however, two of those seasons, Ball never saw the court due to injury.
The former UCLA star is looking for a fresh start, and he may just get that in Cleveland. While Ball is looking for a fresh start, he may not know everything about the new city he calls home.
When speaking with the media about the city on Monday, Ball hilariously joked that he didn’t even know Cleveland had water before joining the team.
“I keep joking with the guys that I didn’t even know if Cleveland had water,” said Ball.

I’m not sure if those comments are going to win over the Cleveland faithful. However, if Ball can become 25% of the player he used to be, the fanbase will get over these comments. Winning cures all.
