NBA star Kevin Durant is gearing up for his first season with the Houston Rockets after a blockbuster, seven-team trade during the offseason. It was the biggest trade in league history.

Durant has big plans on the court for his first year in Houston. The team is one of the top championship contenders in the league, and Durant would love to secure another ring before his career comes to an end.

Off the court, Durant also appears to be eyeing some big plans.

During an appearance on Up & Adams, Durant and host Kay Adams shared a hilarious moment that has since gone viral. Durant shoots his shot at Kay with a friendly invite to a Rockets game this year. And, because it’s Texas, some quality barbecue is also on the table.

“I’m expecting you to come to a game,” Durant said before Adams called him out for ignoring her at a game last season. “I’ll see you at one of these games in Houston, and we going to a barbecue here in Texas when you get out here, alright?

As the saying goes, “you miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take,” and we know that Durant is a bona fide shooter. We’ll have to see if this one works out.

It was a playful moment on the show, but Kay and KD do Texas BBQ would be an incredible segment during the season.
