Oregon is adding a third international player to its roster.
Wei Lin, a 6-foot-2 guard from China, committed to the Ducks on Wednesday, his agency announced.
Lin was the No. 8 pick of the 2025 NBA G League International Draft by the Texas Legends and becomes the first Chinese men’s pro player to join a college program.
He played the past three seasons in China’s CBA for the Nanjing Monkey Kings, averaging 21 points, 3.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists in 34.1 minutes last season.
It’s not immediately clear how many years of eligibility Lin will have.
Lin’s addition gives the Ducks a fifth guard on the roster for 2025-26.
He is the seventh addition to UO’s roster this offseason and the third international player to commit to UO, joining center Ege Demir and forward Efe Vatan.
