Patrick William Injury Update

The Bulls’ beat announced that Patrick Williams had to leave training camp practice early due to an ankle injury. During a scrimmage, he hurt his ankle after a jump stop, according to Billy Donovan. Fortunately, Williams managed to walk off the court without help. Williams was available for Thursday’s practice.

Tre Jones Re-Signing

Aside from Josh Giddey, Jones was another free agent re-signing the Bulls made during the offseason. Eager to return, he had no desire to play elsewhere. Negotiations were left to his agent. In 18 games as a Bull, he delivered averages of 11.5 points and 4.9 assists.

Kevin Huerter on Role and Fit

After practice, reporters asked Huerter about his role on the team and whether he would be in the starting lineup. Huerter then detailed that he trusts the coaching staff to make the best judgment, even if that means he’s coming off the bench. Donovan is not trying to pigeonhole anyone into a role and has informed the team to just play to their strengths.
