Victor Wembanyama spent the summer doing intense training in preparation for his third NBA season. The San Antonio Spurs superstar was seen working out at a Shaolin temple with the monks before being spotted working out with Kevin Garnett, among others. Wemby definitely means business this season.
The Spurs haven’t made the playoffs in either of the Frenchman’s first two seasons. However, Wembanyama is clearly motivated to make sure that doesn’t happen again. And his training seems to have taken him up another level, too, as seen in his latest on-court appearance. One particular highlight from the game has fans online losing their minds.

“Fastbreak, shimmy & two steps and a dunk. If you’re in his way, you’re going to be on a poster in someone’s bedroom,” wrote one fan. “Bro did he… grow more?” another questioned.
“That lab work with KG is showing LOUDLY,” observed a third fan. “Dude, who let this brother go around training with shaolin monks and allat, this is looking like a serious problem,” a fourth fan said.

“Dude only watched highlights of Shaq on the Magic all summer,” wrote a fifth fan. “Thank god my team isn’t competing for a championship anytime soon, this demon is about to win the next four,” claimed another.
Wemby has evidently grown stronger over the summer. He already has an absurd bag for someone his size, and the drive to continue improving. If he starts physically dominating players inside while still scoring from outside, the Frenchman truly might start winning titles long before anyone expects him to.
