North Charleston Boys and Girls Club receives $25k from the Charlotte Hornets

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The Boys and Girls Club in North Charleston received a $25,000 donation from the Charlotte Hornets Saturday.

The Hornets presented the check Saturday at Bridge View Elementary Charter in North Charleston. The Boys and Girls Club plans to use the donation for new technology to better reach their community, like a mobile computer lab.

“I would say on behalf of the City of North Charleston, we truly thank you,” said Mayor Reggie Burgess. “You all are truly a blessing for us and we want y’all to know that we have your backs.”
