Here is my Week 6 Power 10 rankings for the 2025 college volleyball season.
Again, there’s not a ton of changes but just a few adjustments. So, let’s go through them.
1. Nebraska (Prev. 1)
Nebraska took down Penn State on Friday in a rematch from last year’s semifinals where the Nittany Lions reverse swept the Huskers to head to the national championship. I haven’t seen this dominating of a performance in a while, and it wasn’t just a win. It wasn’t even close.

Nebraska held Penn State to 34 total points in the match, which was its fewest points in a match since 2001, while allowing only six points in the first set. The Huskers’ held them to negative hitting on the match while hitting over .430 themselves. This was at Rec Hall too, one of the most difficult places to play in college volleyball. Unreal. Nebraska stays on top.Â
2. Texas (Prev. 2)Â
Texas stays at No. 2, extending its record to 12-0 over the weekend. The Longhorns swept both UGA and Mississippi State and now have seven-straight sweeps to boast. Cari Spears and Torrey Stafford show no signs of slowing down. The freshman phenom powered 15 kills on a .414 against Georgia while Stafford reached her tenth straight match with double-digit put-aways.Â
WHO’S LEFT? Track the undefeated teams remaining in women’s college volleyball.
3. Pittsburgh (Prev. 3)

I am keeping strong with my take that Pitt is the No. 3 team in the country. Even with them at No. 5 in last week’s AVCA rankings, I firmly believe in this Panther team. Pitt added another two wins over Clemson and Georgia Tech this week while Olivia Babcock registered 25 kills for the third time this season.Â
REWIND AND REMEMBER: Olivia Babcock’s aces and top serves in the NCAA volleyball tournament
4. Kentucky (Prev. 4)
The Wildcats are at No. 4 after sweeping Georgia and Ole Miss. Eva Hudson and Brooklyn DeLeye both tallied double-digit kills against the Rebels and with Lizzie Carr’s career-high 13 kills against Georgia, this Kentucky team shows no signs of stopping.Â
5. Louisville (Prev. 6)
Louisville enters the top 5 after a big-time win over AVCA’s No. 4 Stanford on the road. This was a tightly contested match, but the Cards managed to pull it out in four sets. Four different Cardinals posted double-digit kill thanks to Nayelis Cabello’s offensive scheme. Payton Petersen had yet another double-double, and Cara Cresse added 13 kills with eight blocks. Impressive win.Â

6. Wisconsin (Prev. 7)
I moved Wisconsin up a spot to No. 6 this week. You can’t deny their 11-1 record after posting two more sweeps over Illinois, who had a ranked upset last week, and Michigan. Mimi Colyer is dominant every match, and I’m hoping for good news on setter Charlie Fuerbringer, who exited the Michigan match with an injury.Â

7. Stanford (Prev. 5)
Stanford is at No. 7 after the loss to Louisville. The Cardinal team still competed very well, and it was an absolute battle until the end. Elia Rubin led her team so well, landing her fifth double-double of the season with a match-high 19 kills, 14 digs and three blocks.Â
MISSED THE ACTION? Relive the No. 4 Stanford vs. No. 6 Louisville matchup
8. Arizona State (Prev. 8)
Arizona State remains at No. 8 after its sweep of Utah last week. They held the Utes to just .092 on hitting while junior opposite Noemie Glover lead all players with 10 kills and Colby Neal held strong up front with seven blocks.Â
Then for the last two, it is a tough call between TCU, Texas A&M and Purdue for me. But, with all three teams winning out, I didn’t move then from last week.
No. 9 TCU (Prev. 9)

So that leaves me with TCU at No. 9. The Horned Frogs earned a four set win over No. 18 Kansas and added another over Texas Tech on Saturday. Duo Eva Hendrix and Becca Kelley combined for 26 kills while nearly reaching a .500 clip.Â
No. 10 Texas A&M (Prev. 10)
Texas A&M is at No.10 again after earning its seventh-straight victory in a sweep over Alabama. Logan Lednicky and Kyndal Stowers each recorded 18 kills in the Aggie win over South Carolina earlier in the week. Their matchup against Kentucky this week will be one to watch.Â
First team out
Purdue: Just barely out if the top 10 again this week with two wins over UCLA and USC.Â
