The OKC Thunder announced Monday that Nikola Topić underwent a testicular procedure. He’ll be re-evaluated in approximately four to six weeks.
It’s another setback for the 20-year-old guard, who was the 12th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. Topić missed all of last season due to a partially torn ACL in his left knee.

Topić returned to the court this offseason during NBA Summer League. He averaged 10.8 points, 5.8 assists and 3.2 rebounds through six games, and he shot 33.3% from the field (20.8% from deep).
Topić also started in OKC’s 135-114 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Sunday to begin preseason play. He recorded 10 points, seven assists and four rebounds in 31 minutes on 4-for-9 shooting from the field (0 for 3 from deep).
Given the timeline, Topić will be re-evaluated sometime between Nov. 3-17. OKC is set to begin the 2025-26 NBA season on Oct. 21 with a home game against the Houston Rockets.
OKC will continue preseason play with a game against the Dallas Mavericks at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Fort Worth, Texas.
