The Philadelphia 76ers are sitting at home after a disastrous 24-58 season as injuries ruined any chance they had at competing for a title. The roster is supremely talented, but their star trio of Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey were unable to get on the floor together.
The trio played a grand total of 18 games–finishing only 15 of them–and the Sixers were unable to overcome so many injuries and a ton of chemistry problems in the 2024-25 season. The tough season on the floor resulted in Philadelphia missing the playoffs for the first time since 2017.

Maxey, who loves basketball at the highest level, had a message for Sixers fans on Twitter as he is, obviously, sitting back and watching the playoffs just as everybody else has been during this time. The crowds in this postseason have been terrific and Maxey is missing the raucous fans at Wells Fargo Center.
Maxey then had a prediction for the 2025-26 season as he looks to get the Sixers back on the right track of championship contention.
Maxey and the Sixers will be looking to get back to work in the coming season. Armed with the No. 3 pick in the 2025 draft, Philadelphia can add a young player who can help the Sixers get back on track if they can get a clean bill of health from the stars.
