With the NBA season around the corner, the Clippers are getting ready and hoping that all of their offseason free agent signings and trades will help the team this season as the Clippers are still searching for their first championship in franchise history. The Clippers first preseason game is this week. Here are some important things to help get Clippers fans prepared for the season and what to expect.
1.Offseason additions- Clippers brought in Brook Lopez, John Collins, Bradley Beal, and Chris Paul.
2. Bogdan Bogdanovic got injured while playing overseas for Serbia. Expect him to get ready for the regular season
3. Kawhi playing in the first preseason game? With the last couple of weeks being about Kawhi and what is going on in the organization, Clippers fans want to know if he will play in the first preseason game this week and how he will be this season. Kawhi said he will be fine and expects to play . “Yeah. For sure. This is what training camp is for. To get in shape and get ready for the season. I think we are gonna be participating on Thursday.”
4. Return of CP3. The Clippers organization brought back fan favorite and one of franchise best players from the “Lob City Clippers” Chris Paul. Chris Paul helped change the Clippers from being a “joke team” to now a contending franchise competing for the playoffs and NBA finals. Chris Paul is looking to enjoy his last season in the NBA, a memorable one.
