Otzelberger and is aiming for a fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. Iowa has almost an entirely new team in 2025-26 after hiring Ben McCollum as the program’s new head coach, replacing Fran McCaffery. McCollum brought several players from Drake, most notably Bennett Stirtz, a preseason All-Big Ten team selection and the reigning MVC Player of the Year.
