The San Antonio Spurs face the Miami Heat tonight in a preseason matchup at Kaseya Center.

San Antonio enters this contest after a 119–88 win over the Guangzhou Loong Lions in a preseason exhibition. With rookie Dylan Harper, De’Aaron Fox, Stephon Castle, and Devin Vassell out, the Spurs leaned heavily on their frontcourt against their modest competition.

Victor Wembanyama, back on the court for the first time since February, flirted with a triple-double — 9 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 blocks in only 16 minutes — while Luke Kornet went perfect from the floor, scoring 16 points in a bench role. Julian Champagnie and Keldon Johnson also made waves, each contributing 16 points. Carter Bryant, the Spurs’ other 2025 first-round pick, impressed with 15 points and steady defensive effort.

Miami plays its third preseason game tonight. They’ll be without Tyler Herro, who is expected to return from ankle surgery by late November. The Heat could feature Bam Adebayo and Kel’el Ware as key matchups for San Antonio’s frontcourt, offering size and rim protection. Expect Nikola Jovic and Norman Powell to log around 20 minutes on the court.
