Phoenix Suns fans share their thoughts on new-look roster
The Phoenix Suns made many changes to their roster in the offseason. Here’s what fans had to say about the new-look team ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The Phoenix Suns have a history with referee Ben Taylor that isn’t a favorable one.
Taylor is Phoenix’s “kryptonite” among active referees entering the 2025-26 season.
That’s based on stats of worst combined winning percentage and foul differential of more fouls called on the Suns than the opposing team, accumulated by Rotowire.com using Basketball Reference.
The Suns have a 33.3% winning percentage in games Taylor has officiated and 1.2 more fouls have been called on Phoenix than the opponent in those games.
The referee needed to officiate at least 10 games with a team to be considered.
Taylor has officiated more than 600 regular-season games in 12 seasons as an NBA staff official.
He officiated in his first NBA finals last season after being an alternate selection for the 2023 and 2024 finals.
